IMPORTANT! Please read the following housekeeping tips for our interview.
- An email will be sent to you from Riverside.fm with the video/audio meeting link.
- The interview will be recorded via video & audio.
- Please be interview ready (professional clothes, hair, etc.) as this will be video recorded and the video will be shared on our YouTube channel and our podcast website.
- Please ensure you are in a quite space/free from noises and interruptions.
- If you have a microphone, please use it. Having good sound quality automatically makes listeners perceive you as being more professional. Suggested but not required.
- Please ensure there is good lighting around you for the video recording.
- To avoid any interruptions, silence or turn off all phones and computer notifications before recording. If you’re in a space around other people, let them know you’re about to record and would appreciate them being careful not to disturb you.
- Resist the urge to move around or walk in your recording space. Any ambient noise will be picked up by the microphone, making it more difficult to get clear sounding audio. Even shuffling items around your desk or clicking your mouse can have this negative effect.
- Don’t worry if you stumble over your words! Simply take a breath and restart your statement. All audio can be easily edited to remove any mishaps that may come up.
- You will be prompted towards the end of our interview to have the last words to conclude the podcast episode. Please have any website, social or Amazon links, as well as any “freebies” or resources you’d like to share, ready (they will also be included in our show notes and on our website).
- Our podcast episodes typically last 30 minutes or less. Please have 2-3 succinct key points you would like to touch on to promote your services or products and email these key points to drfitness904@gmail.com at least 24 hours prior to your interview.
